Improvements to Navigating Cancer

Creating a Treatment Record Summary has never been easier on Navigating Cancer! Keeping track of your treatments is an important part of your health record. Not only does it allow you to remember your care later on but also provides you a summary that can be shared with your primary care doctor and other health care professionals after your treatment ends.

After hearing your feedback, we’ve been making a lot of improvements to our treatment schedule builder. We know your treatment schedules can be confusing and they can also be delayed, discontinued, and dosages can change so we wanted to make it as flexible and easy as possible to keep track of your medications and treatments.

Here are a few enhancements:

  • Once you’ve added a treatment or medication, you will be prompted to add your schedule which will then be added to your Navigating Cancer Calendar.
  • You can now use the same schedule for multiple drugs – no need to create the same schedule twice.
  • You can easily rebuild a treatment schedule if you make a mistake during creation or need to add additional information.
  • If your treatment becomes delayed, you can now stop the schedule at any time and then resume when your treatment starts again.

If you haven’t added a treatment in Navigating Cancer, now is a great time to start! It’s easy to begin – just log in to Navigating Cancer and click Treatments on your organizer.

PS –  Your feedback is important to us – each email with feedback that is received between now and May 1st will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Amazon gift card. Thank you for helping us create the best possible service for cancer patients!
