Rachel SandersMeet Rachel Sanders, a key member of our Patient Support Team:

Briefly describe your role:

I am the newest member of the Patient Support Team here at Navigating Cancer. My job is to speak with patients who contact our support line and assist them with any issues or questions they have about their Navigating Care portal.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in many places; especially in books, movies, and music. I also like to travel and I find myself amazed by the culture and history of many places I have visited.

What’s your favorite technology and why?

Definitely my laptop. I just graduated from college, so for the past four years, my laptop has been my entire life.

What’s your favorite app and why?

Google Maps. I recently went to Europe and I would have been totally lost trying to navigate without it. This app is super helpful and has certainly made my life easier.

Star Trek or Star Wars?

Star Wars!

What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not at work?

I love spending time with my friends and family. I also love listening to live music, so I go to a lot of concerts in my free time.

Little-known fact about you that would surprise people?

I can be a bit of a daredevil. I am a huge fan of rollercoasters, heights, and thrill rides. I’m always down to try new things and I love that feeling when your stomach drops!
